Summary
At a time when Irish-Israeli relations are at an all-time low, it may come as a surprise to learn that the Irish struggle for independence from Britain became a model for many Jews in British Mandatory Palestine as they struggled to boot out the British. Yanky explores how Irish leader Michael Collins was the inspiration for one of these Palestinian Jews.

Broadcaster, writer, ghostwriter and blogger Yanky Fachler was born in the UK, lived for many years in Israel, and currently lives in Ireland.
