About Dr. Michael Weintraub
Dr. Michael Weintraub is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. Michael is triple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, and in Obesity Medicine. His clinical and research interests encompass the pharmacologic treatment of obesity. He is currently the co-chair of the Endocrine Society’s Obesity Pharmacotherapy Clinical Practice Guidelines and an exam writer for the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Prior to his current position, Michael was a Clinical Fellow in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Hospital for Special Surgery. Before this, Michael completed medical school training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and was an Internal Medicine Resident at Jefferson University Hospital.
